Who handles the data
Data controller: the operator of Toolhelix. For any request about your data write to toolhelix@proton.me.
Online tools
All Toolhelix tools run their calculations in your browser: the designations, sizes and values you type are not sent anywhere.
What we collect
- Pro reservation: email, chosen version, role (optional), language and date.
- Newsletter: email, language and date.
- Share your experience: the text you write, job and type of shop (optional), name and company only if you choose to sign that way, email, language, date and whether you allow publishing.
Why, and on what basis
We use this data only to tell you when the Pro you reserved launches, with your reserved price, and to send the newsletter if you signed up. We read stories to improve Toolhelix; we publish them only if you allowed it, signed as you chose, after you confirm by email. Your email is never published. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Where it is stored
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Form data is kept in a Cloudflare store on the Toolhelix account, accessible only to the operator, and is not passed to third parties. Cloudflare acts as data processor and may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses). To protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare also processes technical data such as the IP address; for the same reason the form keeps a count of submissions from the same address for one hour, then deletes it.
Visit statistics
To know which pages and tools are used, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics: it counts visits in aggregate, with no cookies, without identifying you and without following you to other sites.
How long
Reservation data is kept until 12 months after the Pro launches; newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Then it is deleted.
Donations
Donations are made on Ko-fi (ko-fi.com/toolhelix), which collects payments through Stripe. Card and payment details are handled by Ko-fi and Stripe under their own privacy policies and never reach Toolhelix. Toolhelix only receives the amount and, if you write them, the name and message you leave with the donation.
Cookies
Toolhelix uses no cookies: no profiling and no advertising. The site only uses technical browser storage, which stays on your device, for animations.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete your data and to withdraw consent, by writing to toolhelix@proton.me. You can also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or to the authority in your country.
